How was your Halloween? Ours was good. Our neighborhood really gets into Halloween. There were people outside, handing out candy. Some had firepits going. It was fun, my son had a great time.

However, when I was a kid in my old neighborhood, it was not the nicest on Halloween. Total chaos ruled the night, along with eggs, smashed pumpkins, shaving cream and toilet paper. It was actually scary to go out on Halloween night when I was a kid. And the neighborhood didn't have set hours for trick or treating. So, we'd get trick or treaters from 5 pm to after midnight, it was crazy.

I'm glad Halloween is over now and I'm looking forward to the holidays!

I went to Target today to check out the Halloween clearance and there were lots of people there. Check the list of stuff to look for. And be sure to match candy with coupons to save more!
