  •  AMC's Summer Movie Camp 2018



    AMC movie theaters are showing some cheap summer movies this year for kids and families.

    The tickets are $4 per child, which may sound steep, but in addition to the ticket, they'll get a kid's popcorn, fountain drink, and FrootiTooti fruit snacks. 

    The movies are on Wednesday mornings at 10:00 a.m. starting in June. Scroll to the bottom of the AMC Summer Movie Camp webpage and for a list of participating theaters. Click on the theater for the movie schedule.

  •  Cinemark's Summer Movie Clubhouse 2018

    During the months of June and August, Cinemark will be showing cheap summer movies that the kids will love.

    Cinemark Summer Movie Clubhouse 2018 will show  G and PG movies including Boss Baby, Smurfs: The Lost Village, The LEGO Ninjago Movie, Storks, The Nut Job 2, My Little Pony, Ferdinand, Paddington 2, Captian Underpants, and The Emoji Movie.

    Tickets are $1 per show or $5 for all ten movies. You'll want to check with your local Cinemark to find out which days and times the movies are playing.

    Paragon Theaters will have free summer movies at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays, running from June 12 through August 9, 2018.

    Classic Cinemas is having their annual Wednesday morning movie series this summer June 6 - August 8.

    Admission is $1 and the movie starts at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday mornings. Doors open at 9:00 a.m. and there will be characters, games, and activities.

    If you have a group of 15 or more you can make a group reservation to ensure your spot.

    The PG-rated movies they are showing this summer include:

    Georgia Theatre Company is showing their summer kid show series again this year from June 5 to July 26.

    Doors open at 9:15 a.m. and shows start at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Admission is $1.50, drinks are $1.50, and popcorn is $1.50.

    The series includes The Batman Lego Movie, Ferdinand, Boss Baby, Captain Underpants: The First Epic Movie, Smurfs: The Lost Village, The Emoji Movie, The Lego Ninjago Movie, and Despicable Me 3.

    Metropolitan Theaters are hosting a 10-week Metro Summer Kids Movie Series on Tuesdays or Wednesdays at 10:00 a.m. depending on your location.

    Tickets will be $2.00 and you can watch movies like  Despicable Me 3, The Bossy Baby, Ferdinand, Dr. Suess' The Lorax, The LEGO Batman Movie, The Secret Life of Pets, Sing, Kung Fu Panda 3, The Peanuts Movie, and  Storks.


  •  Alamo Drafthouse Summer Kids Camp 2017

    Details for the Almo Drafthouse Summer Kids Camp for 2018 have not yet been released.

    Alama Drafthouse is having their annual summer kids camp back in 2017.

    100% of the ticket prices for these kids movies go to local non-profits. You can choose to donate $1-$3 a ticket.

    These movies are G and PG movies and they'll be showing The Pirates! Band of Misfits, Minions, Matilda, Zathura: A Space Adventure, The Iron Giant, Trolls, Muppets from Space, The Spongebob Squarepants Movie, Song of the Sea, Speed Racer, Jumanji, and The Secret Life of Pets.

    Cobb Theaters hasn't announced their free summer movies for kids in 2018.

    Cobb Theaters also has a free summer movie program at many of their locations running June through the beginning of August. The movies start at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursdays.

    The free summer movies for 2017 include Home, Minions, The Peanuts Movie, Penguins of Madagascar, Alvin & The Chipmunks: The Road Chip, The Angry Birds Movie, Matilda, Open Season 3, Surf's Up, Storks, The LEGO Movie, Trolls, How to Train Your Dragon 2, Ice Age: Collision Course, Kung Fu Panda 3,  and The Secret Life of Pets.

    Cinemaworld hasn't yet released details for the 2018 summer movies.

    The free summer movies at Cinemaworld are shown each day, starting in June and ending in July. The movies are completely free for kids but adults will have to pay $2 or donate to a charity in exchange for admission.

    The free summer movies this year includes Home, Sing, The Peanuts Movie, Kung Fu Panda 3, The Secret Life of Pets, Ice Age: Collision Course, Trolls, the Angry Birds Movie, Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory, Storks, The LEGO Batman Movie, and The LEGO movie.


  •  Showcase Cinemas Bookworm Wednesdays Free Summer Movies 2017

    Bookworm Wednesdays at Showcase Cinemas will resume in 2018 but details haven't been announced. 

    At Showcase Cinemas Bookworm Wednesdays, kids are going to have to do a little bit of work to get to see their free summer movies.

    Kids who complete a book report over a book they've read can get into a free kid's movie. Accompanying adults are free as well as children 6 and under.

Regal's Summer Movie Express 2018

Regal movie theaters (as well as United Artists and Edwards theaters) are showing almost free summer movies for kids June through August in 2018.

Showtimes are 10:00 a.m. every Tuesday and Wednesday and cost $1.
