FedEx covers tuition costs for long-term employees.

FedEx will subsidize education costs for employees seeking to advance their careers within the company. According to CollegeRecruiter.com, part-time employees can earn up to $1,500 per calendar year while operations managers can get back $2,500.


The UPS Earn and Learn Program offers up to $5,250 in tuition reimbursement per calendar year.

Unlike some companies with a minimum employment time requirement, eligibility for the Earn and Learn program begins the day you’re hired, and you can receive a lifetime maximum of $25,000 in assistance. 

Kroger offers reimbursements through its Feed Your Future program.

According to ProgressiveGrocer.com, the program includes “accelerated investments in store associate wages, a more generous 401(k) benefit, and enriched associate discount and support programs, including an education program to encourage lifelong learning and strengthen the company’s opportunity culture.” Associates are eligible for up to $3,500 annually in tuition reimbursements.


Publix offers reimbursement for both curriculum and individual courses.

You can check out their list of approved undergrad programs to see which ones are eligible for up to $3,200 in reimbursements per calendar year for university enrollment, or $1,700 per year for individual courses or community college enrollment. 

Amazon levels the playing field when it comes to college tuition!

The company offers an awesome 95% reimbursement for degrees in qualified and in-demand fields. Even better, they offer classes right in Amazon facilities so you don’t have to choose between driving long distances to college campuses & online classes which can be kind of limiting for some folks.


Full-time Best Buy employees are eligible for up to $5,250 in tuition reimbursement.

Undergraduates can receive up to $3,500, and graduate students may be reimbursed up to $5,250 per calendar year. They may also cover your textbook costs!


Lowe’s pays up to $2,500 per fiscal year for full-time employees.

They’ll cover 100% of tuition fees and 50% of books fees up to the maximum grant. Lowe’s will also support any curriculum for bachelor’s degrees, but Master and Doctoral degrees must pertain to advancing the employee’s career within the company.


Get a degree for $1 per day at Walmart.

Walmart partnered up with Guild Education to offer employees degrees in business, supply chain, technology, and health fields for only $1 per day! And if you’re getting a head start, they also offer free ACT and SAT prep & up to seven hours of free college credits through their Live Better U program.


Get up to $5,000 reimbursed while working for Home Depot.

The maximum amount you can be reimbursed depends on the type of employee you are (full-time, part-time, or salaried), and participants can choose between on-campus and online classes.

 

Working for BP can slash tuition costs by 90%.

As long as employees are studying an approved curriculum and earn a passing grade, BP will reimburse up to 90% of tuition costs.


Both full- and part-time Pilot Company employees are eligible for up to $18,000 in tuition reimbursement.

If you struggle to maintain both a full-time work and school schedule (it’s really difficult, especially with a family!), you don’t have to worry about that with Pilot Company. Both full- and part-time employees are equally eligible for the $18,000 lifetime reimbursement.

 

Wells Fargo can help both employees and their children with college costs.

Wells Fargo offers a generous $5,000 reimbursement for tuition expenses per year! And even better, they also have scholarships specifically for the children of employees with awards ranging between $1,000 and $3,000.


Get up to $5,000 for tuition reimbursement with Capital One.

While there isn’t any specific info about their education benefits on the Capital One website, Glassdoor reviews have said they offer up to $5,000 in reimbursements per year.


Working for Fidelity can reduce student loan debt.

They reimburse 90% of tuition costs (up to a maximum of $10,000 per year!) for degrees related to your career at Fidelity. They also provide other ways for employees to help pay down existing student loan debt, such as allowing them to put the value of their PTO toward their loan balance.


Bank of America has both prepaid vouchers or tuition reimbursement options.

As long as the school you wish to attend accepts prepaid vouchers, you can use those to cover the initial costs of education & then you can request a reimbursement for any eligible expense that wasn’t covered in the initial application.

 

Chick-fil-A offers generous scholarships for lucky employees.

Eligible employees have the chance to win a True Inspiration scholarship for $25,000 or a Leadership scholarship for $2,500. Applicants must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5 on a 4.0 scale and be able to show community involvement in the 12 months prior to applying for the scholarships.


Papa John’s Dough & Degrees program makes education more accessible for all employees.

The pizza chain offers 100% reimbursement for education expenses in select curriculums for all corporate employees. Franchise employees have to pay $5,000 annually, but that may still be cheaper than attending university separate from the program.


Chipotle has both grad & undergrad opportunities.

Chipotle is also partnered with Guild Education & encourages their associates to pursue both graduate and post-graduate degrees! Students can pay as little as $250 per year and also have the option to pursue a GED and/or study English as a second language.


McDonald’s offers $2,500-$5,250 in tuition assistance per year.

McDonald’s Archways to Opportunity program offers partial tuition coverage for any employee working at least 15 hours per week for at least 90 days.


Starbucks covers 100% of tuition fees at Arizona State University’s online program.

If you enjoy online classes, it doesn’t get much better than Starbucks’ offer to cover 100% of tuition costs for all benefits-eligible employees who attend Arizona State University’s online program. As long as you’re going for your first bachelor’s degree, Starbucks has you covered!

 

While the benefits aren’t clearly outlined, Microsoft is reportedly generous with its tuition reimbursements.

Microsoft lists “education programs” in their employee benefits guide, but doesn’t outline exactly what those are. However, folks on Glassdoor are saying they’ve paid up to a whopping $10,000 per year for employees who have been there a minimum of two years.


With their own university, it’s no surprise that Intel has a generous reimbursement program.

The total reimbursement amount is up to $50,000 per program! They also offer free tutoring, resource services, seminars, and scholarships for employees’ children.


Qualcomm reimbursed its employees over $1.5 million in one year alone.

Qualcomm collaborates with several universities to provide its employees with tons of opportunities to achieve their research goals. Some websites report that undergrad students can request reimbursements up to $5,250 per calendar year.


T-Mobile offers competitive tuition reimbursement rates.

Like many other jobs that pay for college, full-time employees are eligible for up to $5,250 per year and part-time employees can earn back about half that amount at $2,500 per year. Employees are able to apply after 90 days of employment.


Communications giant Verizon may reimburse 100% of university costs.

Their tuition assistance policy states that some courses of study (specifically work-related curriculums) are eligible to be reimbursed 100%, while others have a cap of $3,500 per year.

 

Love to travel? Work for JetBlue airlines and earn your degree for up to $30,000 off!

Some jobs that pay for college will offer a reimbursement after graduation, but JetBlue will actually pay for your degree while you’re studying for it! Students are on the hook for $3,500 (which can be covered by other scholarships), but after that, JetBlue takes care of the rest.


Working for Boeing for one year gains you access to their tuition assistance program.

They’ll cover 100% of tuition costs for STEM-related programs through their Learning Together program!

 

Deloitte offers generous assistance for grad school students.

If you can see yourself working with Deloitte long-term, their Graduate School Assistance Program may help you get into a top business school with 0 debt. GSAP participants receive full reimbursement for their tuition as long as they work for Deloitte during the two years following their graduation.


Smuckers will reimburse 100% of tuition for approved curriculums.

They also offer the ability to purchase company shares via a payroll deduction as well as scholarships for the children of employees.


Snag a job at Disney and get 100% tuition reimbursement.

Who wouldn’t want to work at Disney?! They offer a ton of employee benefits, and their up-front offer to cover all tuition for both part and full-time employees definitely sweetens the deal. The offer is available for anyone who attends an Aspire Network university.


Procter and Gamble offers tuition reimbursement among many other benefits.

While they don’t advertise the specific parameters of their reimbursement program, some websites like Monster.com report that they’ll pay back up to $40,000.


Anthem is a great company in the healthcare industry.

If you enjoy working in healthcare, look into the tuition reimbursement plan offered by Anthem. Full-time employees are eligible for up to $5,000 per year to cover the cost of tuition, books, and other university-related expenses.
