Cumberland Farms: Once again, the convenience chain is offering a free coffee of any size for National Coffee Day. Customers should text FREECOFFEE to 64827, and they'll receive a coupon for a free hot or iced coffee. Find your nearest location here.

Holiday Stationstores: This convenience store chain is giving away totally free java on National Coffee Day at any of their stores. Even better, this offer is valid on coffees of any size. Simply text COFFEE to 44022 on September 29 to receive your free caffeine buzz. These stores are found in several northern states, and you can find your closest location here.

Need another caffeine fix? Holiday is also offering Free Coffee Tuesdays through October 9. In addition to free java, customers can take advantage of a variety of flavored syrups and fresh chilled creamers at no additional charge.

Krispy Kreme: The doughnut chain opted to celebrate with a whole weekend instead of just one day! Customers could get any size hot brewed or small iced coffee (in any flavor you wanted) for free at participating locations.

Kwik Trip: This convenience store chain gave away free coffee for National Coffee Day 2017.

Lyft: Residents of Seattle, Portland, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Chicago, Austin, Dallas, and Philadelphia received a free can of High Brew coffee for riding with Lyft on National Coffee Day.

Peet's: Customers got 25% off any bag of blended coffee beans in-store. Plus, they could also score a free medium-size cup of drip coffee or tea on National Coffee Day

Pilot/Flying J Stores: All day on September 29, participating locations offered a free small cup of Pilot coffee via a printable coupon. The same coupon was also valid for a small hot tea or cappuccino.

Tim Hortons: The chain celebrated National Coffee Day for a whole week! Participating U.S. locations offered free coffee in any size from September 29 to October 6. (Customers had to download the Tim Hortons app in order to take advantage of this promo.)

Wawa: Customers could swing by participating locations on National Coffee Day for a free coffee in any size.

Bruegger's Bagels: The bagel chain didn't offer any day-of freebies, but it did host a flash giveaway via its social media channels. Customers had the opportunity to win free coffee for the rest of 2017.
Community Coffee Company: Customers could take 30% off online purchases of $30 or more on National Coffee Day via a coupon code.
Duck Donuts: Customers could buy one hot coffee and get a second hot coffee of equal or lesser value for free. To participate, customers just had to mention the promotion to the cashier when checking out.
Dunkin' Donuts: Stop by a participating location and buy a hot coffee for yourself. In return, you'll receive a free hot coffee to share with someone special. Find your nearest Dunkin' here.
Horn & Hardart: Online shoppers could enter to win a free bag of coffee or a 12-pack gift box of K-cups. Additionally, Philadelphia residents could get a free cup of Liberty Roast blend from Rittenhouse Square.
Maui Wowi: Customers could take 50% off online purchases via a coupon code.
McDonald's: It wasn't free, but it was cheap! Participating locations offered small McCafe specialty drinks for just $2.
