Blue Robin's Egg Candies

/

Here’s what you need!

  • 12 cavity Wilton egg mold

  • Blue Wilton candy melts. I found these at Meijer for only $3.99/each. Amazon had them priced at $8.99. Also check Michael’s, Hobby Lobby and Jo Ann.

  • Oreos

HOW TO MAKE BLUE ROBBIN'S EGG CANDIES:

Melt 1 bag Wilton Blue Candy Melts.

Crush 1 OREO Cookie into fine crumbs.

Sprinkle 1 teaspoon of cookie crumbs into the melted candy melts, then stir.

Sprinkle some cookie crumbs over a 12-cavity Wilton Silicone Egg Mold. Find the molds here

Press the crumbs into the mold using your finger, then turn the mold upside down to allow any excess crumbs to fall out.

Fill each egg-shaped cavity with the OREO speckled candy melts, tapping the mold to flatten the candy and to remove any air bubbles.

Freeze for 15 minutes.

Remove the blue Robin's Eggs from the mold.

Re-heat any remaining candy melts and repeat making about 18 eggs
