This year, Target will be opening an hour earlier on Thursday for shoppers. And there are several great deals they're offering. Get movies released in the past few years for $4 or $6; half off on artificial Christmas trees on Saturday, the 30th; and major savings on several electronics like TVs, gaming systems, and tablets. Several of these deals are while quantities last, and the whole Black Friday sale is from the 28th to the 30th.

Target is having daily deals and doorbusters the week before and after Black Friday, however, so check out all the details below to get the full scoop.

Target: Trade In Your iPad for Min.$200

Target is offering a great iPad trade deal this week. You can trade in any iPad as long as it powers on and has no cracks and get at least $200 to use towards a new iPad. This is a great deal for anyone like me who still has an original iPad or iPad Mini and wants to upgrade to a newer model. If you have a newer model iPad, it is still likely worth more than $200.

Target: Free In-Store Pick Up Now Available

Target.com  is now offering FREE Ship-to-store for thousands of items and Store Pickup. They are offering more than 35,000 items online available for store pickup but there are exclusions.

Certain items – such as groceries, limited-time offerings like designer collaborations and merchandise sold only on Target.com will not initially be eligible.

Note that Target.com has blacked out Thanksgiving Week, meaning you won’t be able to use this service from Sunday, November 24th thru Saturday, November 30th.

 

Here’s how Store Pick-Up Works…

  • Head over to Target.com for your usual shopping. When you’re checking on an item, look for the “Eligible for Store Pickup” to be listed underneath.
  • Then when you place your order, you will be asked whether you want to Ship to Home or do Store Pickup Free and which store you wish to pickup from.
  • Target will let you know when your order is ready for pickup via email or text message, whichever you prefer. You can pickup your order at Guest Services. Just be prepared to show a Photo ID.
