Shopping Adventures With My Son

It can be hard shopping with a child. My son is 3 1/2 and is big for his age. Many people mistake him for a 5 year old. This causes problems when we go shopping because he's too big for a stroller and too big for the seat in the front of the grocery cart. I wish every store had those "Kiddie Kruisers", those little red cars. Tops has them and my son loves to ride in them. When I do let him walk, which he loves to do, it's "whine and grab" time. He loves to pick up the craziest things. And sometimes the items he wants all have a theme, like they are the same color. One day we went into Tops and he started picking out all yellow items, bananas, those yellow plastic lemons filled with lemon juice, etc. He sure makes shopping interesting for me! He also loves those red blinkie coupon machines. I keep him busy by having him collect coupons for me. Sometimes the coupons he finds are really good ones too! I think he's getting the hang of this bargain shopping thing!
