Weekend Update
/Even with the really cold temps (and snow), I've gotten out this week and got some good deals. At Target, they have a lot of clothes and winter hats and accessories 75% off. My deals included (2) 3 drawer Sterilite drawers (originally $24.99, got them for $6.48 each). I also got (2) metal containers for $3.48 each and got some Cinnamon Toast Crunch cereal 2 pk (with free itunes inside) for $3.24 (after $1 coupon). Pretty good deal. I've been trying to hold off for 30% off those bulk packs of food, but the shelves were practically empty the day I was there. I don't know if they'll even make it to 30% off at this point! Target has set up for Valentine's Day, so those bulk pack items will probably be scattered throughout the store on endcaps. I've updated the seen at Target list too.
I was also at Meijer the other day and they had a small shelf with holiday items 90% off. It was pretty pathetic! Because of the weather this month, this is the first time I've been to Meijer, so I completely missed out on the holiday clearance. They did however have a lot of kid's clothes on clearance, really good prices.
If you are spending these cold winter days organizing (like I am), I read on a message board that Home Depot has storage containers on clearance. Might be worth checking out!
