Top 10 Things Cam Would Miss (Mars Needs Moms)

Social Moms gave me the opportunity to post on a fun new topic, inspired by the new movie coming out "Mars Needs Moms"- They asked "What are the top ten things your kids would miss most about you if you were abducted by aliens?" Here they are!

  1. Spending time together. Whether we are playing LEGOS or the latest Wii game, Cam and I have a lot of fun together! Cam has been building a lot of really unique LEGO creations lately, and I've been snapping photos to put on Facebook. My Facebook friends love to see what Cam has been up to!
  2. Watching movies and tv together. Cam and I love watching movies. Whether it is "Star Wars" (Cam's favorite) or Rachael Ray (mine!), we have a lot of fun together.
  3. Going out to the park. When the weather is better, my son would miss going out to the park with me and going on the swings, slide, etc.
  4. Cooking and baking. Cam loves Cake Boss and loves to try out new recipes. He's getting more into baking and we've made some great stuff! Our latest creation was peanut butter fudge!
  5. Going to Cedar Point during the summer. Cam has been going there since he was 8 weeks old and it's been such a big part of his childhood! His favorite ride is the Gemini rollercoaster. We also like to see the shows and walk around the park. It is especially fun in the fall, when it's crisp and cool outside. The spooky haunted houses and monsters are great fun during that time of year!
  6. Going to church and Awana. Cam loves going to Awana and spending time with his friends. This past weekend, Cam was in a derby car race at church. It was such a great family project to work on.
  7. Working on his Diary of a Wimpy kid book cartoons. Recently, Cam has gotten into cartooning and making his own books. It is fun to help him with his projects!
  8. Volunteering at school. Cam would miss if I didn't volunteer at school!
  9. Shoveling snow. One of Cam's chores is helping shovel the driveway and he would miss the help!
  10. And of course, he would miss being with his mom!!

Thanks Social Moms for the opportunity to blog about this topic! It brought up so many fun times we've shared!
