Old School Blogging #1

Winter has started here in NE Ohio and it makes me want to break out my Christmas tree before Thanksgiving. I don't recall that last time winter started this early and the snow stayed on the ground.

Needless to say, we weren't ready! Our garage is a mess and we can't get a car in there. We had backyard work we needed to get done but can't now. What a mess! So I am focusing on cleaning up inside the house as we are having company in the next month.

Besides working around the house and on my blog, I can't wait for Hunger Games Mockingjay this weekend!! I have read all the books and seen all the movies so far. I'm also looking forward to Into the Woods, that will be in theatres Christmas.

Finally, lately I have been getting hooked more on genealogy again, and while I knew my mom's side of the family goes back to William the Conqueror and his son King Henry in England, I wondered when they came to America. I did more research on Ancestry.com and found out 1630. So cool! I did not know they had been in America that long.
