Target Passbook: The Easy Way to Store Target Mobile Coupons

If you have an iPhone and use Target Mobile coupons, then here’s an easy way to keep them all together and easily accessible. It’s a nifty little app called Passbook and as long as you’ve got iOS 6 or higher on your iPhone, you’ve got Passbook. You will have to update your operating system to make use of this app if you do not have iOS 6.

You will also need to have the Target App on your iPhone. You can text “APP” to 827438 (TARGET) to receive a download link or go HERE. If you are new to Target Mobile Coupons all together, you can learn more about them & how to sign up on my post HERE. Once you have the Target App downloaded, you’ll have access to Passbook directly thru the Target App. Here’s how to get started….

passbook-appFirst, click on the link in your latest mobile coupons offer. (You can check under the mobile coupon section of my Target Coupon Page to see all the mobile coupons available right now). When you can see the coupons, scroll down to the bottom to where you see the red bar, ‘add to passbook’. Tap on the bar and your Target App will open automatically. Then select Add in the top right corner, and you’re done!

Now, when you’re ready to redeem your mobile coupon(s), just open your Target App, go to the main menu (click on icon in top left corner) and select ‘Mobile Coupons’. Then present the barcode to the cashier after all items have been scanned. Any offers you did not redeem, will be available on future visits. To see which coupons you have used, you will need to refresh first, then scroll thru the list in your passbook, and you’ll notice that the ones you have used are blocked in gray and say ‘Redeemed’.

To see ALL your mobile coupons in passbook, open the Target App on your device, go to the main menu and select ‘Deals & Coupons’, then ‘Mobile Coupons’. Each batch of coupons is stored here. Scroll down to see each individual list of coupons or left to right, to see each batch. Notice the subtitle above the expiration date – this tells you the name of each group of coupons.

You will need to update your passbook manually, it does not automatically remove or update old or expired passes. Just go back to the main menu, select ‘Deals & Coupons’, and then ‘Balance Passbook’. This screen will show you any expired passes you should delete, any new coupon passes to add, and how many current passes you have. For additional information and support on mobile coupons, you can go to Target’s support page HERE.

Thanks Totally Target!
