Clearance Toy Shopping Tips @ Target

This year the markdown could take place on Thursday, January 14th or Thursday January 22nd 2016,

Here are some things you can do BEFORE the big sale happens to make sure you are ready for the big day!

Make your list and set your budget:
It's easy to go crazy buying toys during the clearance sale. 

Check reviews before you buy:
Amazon is a great resource to make sure the toys are rated highly and well made.

Check for coupons or rebates:

Check to see if there are any coupons or rebates.  Make sure you check Target.com for Target printable toy coupons too and Cartwheel.

Visit all your local Targets: 

This is a little time-consuming but worth it for a better selection of toys.

50% off- worth it?
If I see something that is a very popular toy (like LEGO's) and know it will disappear fast at 70% off, I will buy it at 50% off. 50% off LEGOs are worth it to me, as they are so expensive!

Target does not do price adjustments on clearance items.   You can buy the item at 70% off and then return the original item with your 50% off receipt.
