Recall: Fresh Cut Veggies

On August 26th, Country Fresh announced a recall of 30,000 cases of fresh-cut vegetables because they have the potential to be contaminated with Listeria monocytogenes, an organism which can cause serious and sometimes fatal infections in young children, frail or elderly people, and others.
These vegetables are sold at some of the nation’s leading grocery stores, including Walmart, Harris Teeter, Publix, QuikTrip, Winn Dixie and BI-LO. T
